FAQs

Village Vision Center is located at 113 Barnett Blvd in Highland Village, TX 75077. The practice serves patients throughout Denton County, including Highland Village, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Lantana, Argyle, and Denton. Most patients are within a short drive, making Village Vision Center the go-to independent eye care option for the entire northwest DFW corridor.

Village Vision Center is a locally owned, independent optometry practice — not a chain or retail vision center. Founded by Dr. Anisha Jacob, O.D., the practice is deeply rooted in the Denton County community and built around the kind of personalized, unhurried care that big-box providers simply can’t offer.

Village Vision Center provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (including specialty lenses like scleral and multifocal lenses), dry eye management, pediatric eye care, Ortho-K therapy for myopia management, and diagnosis and management of conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and cataracts. The in-house optical boutique offers a curated selection of designer eyewear frames and prescription lenses.

Yes, Village Vision Center is welcoming new patients. Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling the office at 972-317-3888. Same-day appointments are available in many cases, including for urgent eye care needs.

Village Vision Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by appointment only. For after-hours eye emergencies, Dr. Jacob can be reached directly at 940-252-4856.

Unlike retail chains, Village Vision Center is an independent practice where you see the same experienced doctors every visit. The team takes time to thoroughly explain your eye health, offers advanced diagnostic technology including Optomap retinal imaging and OCT, and provides access to a luxury optical boutique with designer frames. Patients consistently cite the unhurried, attentive care as the reason they drive from across Denton County to visit.

Village Vision Center accepts a wide range of vision and medical insurance plans, including VSP, EyeMed, Humana, Spectera, Avesis, United HealthCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, TriCare, Superior Vision, Block Vision, Cigna, Davis Vision, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you don’t see your plan listed, call 972-317-3888 — the team is happy to verify your coverage before your appointment.

Village Vision Center welcomes patients without vision insurance. The team can provide transparent pricing for exams and eyewear so you can make informed decisions. FSA and HSA funds are accepted and can be used toward exams, glasses, and contact lenses, which is a cost-effective option for many uninsured patients.
