IN-NETWORK SPECTERA PROVIDER

Have UHC Insurance? You Probably Have Vision Benefits Too

It’s not always obvious. Your card might just say “UHC.” But buried in your benefits package, there’s often a Spectera vision plan waiting to be used. We can help you find out.

Wait, What’s Spectera?

Wait, What’s Spectera?

Spectera is UnitedHealthcare’s vision care network. It’s the vision insurance arm that handles eye exams, glasses, and contacts for UHC members.

If your employer offers UnitedHealthcare for medical coverage, they often bundle Spectera vision benefits with it. Sometimes it’s automatic. Sometimes it’s an add-on you elected during open enrollment and forgot about.

Either way, it’s worth checking. You might have benefits that expire at the end of the year.

Medical Eye Care Too

If you have eye health concerns—chronic dry eye, recurring infections, diabetic changes, or something that just doesn’t seem right—we can help with that too.

Good to know: Medical eye care may be covered under your UHC health plan rather than your Spectera vision plan. We can bill appropriately.
