DRY EYE TREATMENT

Lasting relief from dry eye.

Dry eye happens when your eyes don’t make enough tears — or the tears evaporate too quickly. Left alone, it leads to discomfort, inflammation, and even blurred vision. The good news: it’s very treatable.

A QUICK SELF-CHECK

You may have dry eye if you experience…

01

Eye discomfort

A constant awareness that your eyes are there.

02

Redness

Bloodshot, irritated whites that linger even after a full night’s sleep.

03

Burning

A stinging heat that builds through the day.

04

Foreign Body Feeling

A scratchy, sandy feeling — like an eyelash you can never quite find.

05

Blurred Vision

Focus that clears for a second when you blink.

Recognize any of these? You’re not alone — let’s take a closer look

ROOT CAUSES

What can contribute to dry eye

Age
As we get older, our eyes naturally produce fewer tears. This is especially common in women going through menopause, when hormonal changes affect the tear film.

Antihistamines, decongestants, blood-pressure medications, and some antidepressants can all reduce tear production as a side effect.

Wind, dry Texas air, air conditioning, and long hours at a screen all speed up tear evaporation and leave eyes feeling parched.

Diabetes, thyroid disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, and autoimmune conditions like Sjögren’s are frequently linked to chronic dry eye.

Contact lens wear, extended screen time with reduced blinking, and smoke exposure all place extra strain on your tear film.

Not sure what's driving yours?

Dry eye usually has more than one cause. We run a full tear-film workup to find yours — then build a plan around it, rather than handing you another bottle of drops.

YOUR OPTIONS

From simple relief to lasting results

We start conservative and step up only as needed — matching the treatment to the cause.

01

Artificial Tears & Lubricants

First-line relief. Quality lubricating drops and ointments (like Oasis Tears) ease day-to-day dryness and protect the surface of the eye.

02

Prescription Drops

When inflammation is part of the picture, prescription drops calm it at the source and help your eyes make healthier tears.

03

Nutritional Support

Targeted omega-3s and dry-eye vitamins (like HydroEye) support the oily layer of your tear film from the inside out.

04

Punctal Occlusion

In more stubborn cases, tiny plugs keep your natural tears on the eye longer instead of draining away too quickly.

05

In-Office Gland Therapy

Warmth and gentle expression (Miboflow) clear blocked meibomian glands so they can release oil normally again.

06

OptiLight IPL

Advanced light therapy that treats dry eye at its root cause — meibomian gland dysfunction. More on this just below.
