02

Central-vision changes, monitored closely as part of every comprehensive exam.

04

Diabetes & Blood Pressure

The ocular effects of diabetes, high blood pressure, and other general health conditions.

05

Everything patients ask us before their first visit.
What does a comprehensive eye exam at Village Vision Center include?
A full evaluation of both your vision and your eye health — visual acuity and refraction, screening for glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, retinal imaging with our diagnostic technology, and a review of how your general health and medications may be affecting your eyes.
The American Optometric Association recommends yearly exams if you wear contacts or glasses. Without correction, most healthy adults are well served by an exam every one to two years — annually for children, seniors, and anyone managing a condition like diabetes or high blood pressure.
Yes — we see patients of all ages. For children showing signs of progressive myopia, we also offer specialized management options, including Stellest lenses and Ortho-K.

A screening — the kind you’d get at school or the DMV — simply checks whether you can see clearly. A comprehensive exam goes much further, evaluating the structural health of your eyes with dilation and imaging to catch conditions long before they affect your vision.

Well beyond routine exams — we diagnose and treat dry eye, eye infections, and a range of other ocular conditions. If something feels off between your annual visits, it’s worth a call rather than waiting.

Yes, including specialty fittings for toric, multifocal, and hard-to-fit prescriptions. We’ll find the right lens for your eyes, not just the nearest match.

Ortho-K is a non-surgical treatment that gently reshapes your cornea overnight, giving you clear vision during the day without glasses, contacts, or surgery. We do offer it — ask us if you’re a candidate.
